The Webmaster Controls section is used to manage storage space, Email accounts and FTP service(optional) for your sub accounts.
Here is an example and quick run-down of the webmaster controls:
This option, allows you to disable certain features for your website, such as FTP, or your website. This could be potentially dangerous, as you could accidentally lock yourself out of your website, or FTP site. These normally are enabled, but are available if you want to temporarily disable a part of your site.
This section delegates to your account, how many entries for E-mail forwarding, POP3 accounts, or AutoResponders, that you want your account to have. Note: This only gives you the entries for your E-mail accounts, not sets them up. For setting up these accounts, you will need to refer to our E-mail Section.
This part gives you the ability, to allocate how much disk space, and how many number of files you would like your account to have. This, is split up into four sections:
- Disk Usage
This column shows your current disk space that is beeing used in your account at that very moment. Totals in this field are rounded to the nearest 4 kilobytes (4KB).
- Usage Limit
This is the actual quota, that you can set on the account. With the Webmaster controls, You can delegate how much space you want the account to have, of your total allocated space. Totals in this field are rounded to the nearest 4 kilobytes (4KB).
- Number Files
This shows the actual number of files that you have in your account.
- File Limit
This field controls the limit of the number of files that you may the number of files you may have in your account).
