How do I access my pages through the secure server.To access you pages through the secure server please use this construct:
https://secure.nameservers.com/yourdomain.xxx/path/to/page
where "yourdomain.xxx" is your domain name (without the www prefix).
How do I access my cgi's through the secure server.To access you cgi's through the secure server please use this construct:
https://secure.nameservers.com/yourdomain.xxx/cgi-bin/scriptname
where "yourdomain.xxx" is your domain name (without the www prefix).
NOTE: please see the section below to make sure your CGI's work!!
Why don't my CGI scripts work through the secure server?The reason your scripts don't work is because you need to create an .htaccess file in any text editor with the following lines in it:
Options execcgi
SetHandler cgi-scriptSave the .htaccess file as text and FTP it into the /htdocs/cgi-bin directory.
You are responsible for any fees that Verisign or Thawte may charge.
